Mind the Kids has been established by Amanda & Julian Robinson in response to what they see as a growing need for parents to be able to find and contact quality childcarers in a safe, reliable and convenient environment.
We seek to attract childcarers of a high calibre, giving parents a low-cost alternative to nanny agencies and complete control in their search for nannies, childminders or babysitters.
Mind the Kids is completely independent and we are not affiliated with any nanny agency. We closely monitor profile and job ad posting on the website however we do not interview candidates or conduct reference or police checks.
Mind the Kids is not a childcare agency and therefore we cannot verify the information our childcarers provide in their profiles. It is the responsibility of every parent to perform the necessary screening and verification of childcarers prior to offering them a position.
Amanda is an Australian who has worked in online product development and marketing for 8 years. She has extensive experience in developing online strategy and launching new online products and services for Yellow Pages, SEEK, Lonely Planet & Yahoo!. Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Marketing from Monash University.
Julian is English and has worked in corporate financial roles for Halifax Bank of Scotland, BHP Billiton & KPMG. Julian has an Engineering degree from Leeds University and is a CIMA qualified accountant.
